Location Field based role, mainly in North East
Blackwell Energy specialise in Solar PV, Air to Water Heat Pump and Retrofit Underfloor Heating with offices in Rathmines, Dublin 6 and Shercock, Co. Cavan. We require a hardworking, flexible, growth-oriented individual with Solar PV experience to join our team. Excellent career development opportunities will be available to the successful candidate.
In this role, you will be field based and responsible for the sales of solar PV to domestic, commercial and agricultural clients. The role is being advertised as a full time position but could also suit somebody who wishes to work as a self-employed sales agent.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and cold call potential customers
- Follow up leads provided from our office, meet with clients and quote accordingly
- Liaise with our installation/operations/marketing teams as required
- Develop sales & marketing plan
- Gathering all the relevant information from the customer to identify their solar needs
- Contribute toward developing, implementing, and improving the sales process.
- Assess sites to determine suitability for solar equipment, using equipment such as tape measure, compasses, and computer software
- Understanding of the SEAI & ESB guidelines
- Provide technical information about solar products
- Increase customer satisfaction through improved communication and turnaround time
- Liaise with our installation/operations/marketing teams as required
- Gather information from the competitors on a regular basis
- Ability to identify other opportunities for Blackwell Energy in terms Heat Pumps, Underfloor Heating, Air Conditioning and Deep Retrofits.
- Be professional, arrival to appointments on a timely manner and be customer focused
- High attention to technical details and clear communication skills is required
Requirements:
- Experience in solar PV not compulsory but is a distinct advantage
- Good understanding of electrical terminology and systems
- Flexible/Adaptable approach
- Valid Driving Licence
- Must be a proven achiever with a strong sales background
- High attention to details
- Ambition to progress within an organisation
